Will I lose my offline workflow?
No. AskBooks ships as a PWA with offline cache. Recent data is available offline; mutations queue locally and sync when you reconnect. It is not as seamless as Vyapar's offline-first mode, but it covers most field scenarios.
I only need one user. Why switch?
Free Khata covers a 1-person shop with unlimited parties and 500 free invoices per month — forever. You only pay for Pro when you need multiple users, payroll, bank reconciliation, or industry verticals.
Will my Vyapar data come over cleanly?
Yes. CSV export from Vyapar covers parties, items, and transactions. Upload at Settings → Data Import — we map fields automatically. Most migrations complete in under 30 minutes.
Can I keep using Vyapar on the side?
Yes, during the transition. Most customers fully cut over within 2–3 weeks once they are comfortable with cloud sync and have verified their data is accurate.
What about my CA filing my returns?
CA Connect lets your accountant log in with their own credentials, see exactly your books, and file returns without sharing your password. Vyapar does not have a true multi-client CA portal.
