Build a custom pivot report

Slice and dice with the BI Reports builder.

For data not covered by the standard reports, use Reports → BI → New pivot.

Pick the dataset Sales, purchases, payments, journal entries, employees — each dataset exposes its columns as dimensions and measures.

Drag dimensions to rows/columns For example, *Customer* on rows, *Month* on columns, *Invoice total* as the measure. The pivot computes instantly.

Add filters Restrict to a date range, a specific item category, or a status (paid/unpaid).

Save and schedule Click **Save report**. Optionally add a schedule (daily/weekly/monthly) and email recipients — AskBooks runs it automatically and emails the result.
