Connect a bank account

Link via Account Aggregator or upload a statement.

AskBooks supports two ways of getting bank data in: live Account Aggregator (AA) feeds and statement upload.

Account Aggregator (recommended) Go to **Banking → Connect bank**. Pick your bank, enter the account number registered with the bank, and consent via the AA flow on your bank's app. Within a minute, the last 12 months of transactions appear under **Banking → Transactions**, and new entries flow in daily.

This route uses your AA-registered consent and is fully RBI-regulated. AskBooks never sees your net-banking credentials.

Manual statement upload If your bank is not on the AA network yet, click **Banking → Upload statement**. We accept PDF, CSV, and Excel from 60+ Indian banks. The parser auto-detects the format; if it fails, you can map columns manually.

Reconciliation Once data is in, head to **Banking → Reconciliation**. AskBooks suggests matches between bank lines and your invoice/payment ledger. One click confirms each match. Anything unmatched stays in a queue for you to assign manually.
