Refund Policy

At AskBooks Technologies Pvt Ltd we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

1. Annual Plans

Annual plans are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. After 30 days, no refund is available, but you may continue using the Service until the end of your billing period.

2. Monthly Plans

Monthly plans are not eligible for refund. You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings; you will retain access to the Service until the end of the current billing period and will not be charged thereafter.

3. Setup Fees

One-time setup, onboarding, or migration fees are non-refundable once the underlying work has begun.

4. Custom Integrations & Professional Services

Custom integration work, bespoke reports, or professional services rendered against a statement of work are non-refundable.

5. How to Request a Refund

1. Email billing@askbooks.in from the email address registered on your account.
2. Include your account ID, invoice number, and reason for the refund request.
3. Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days back to the original payment method.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved within 48 hours. Chargebacks raised without prior contact may result in account suspension pending investigation.
